Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced FLT (Counter Balance) Operative to join the Pinnacle Workplace Team as plant production support in Carrington, Manchester M31. Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport the site **
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
You will support the main logistical operations on-site, by preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming goods by loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using FLT. Product bagging and stock location/rotation. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.
This is a Temporary Project of 48 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, working 4 on 4 off - 2-day shifts plus 2-night shifts Days & Nights 6am -6pm / 6pm -6am. We are offering weekly pay with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately load vehicles with the correct product, in the correct quantities and promptly
- Ensure FLT pre-use checks are completed and logged
- Container loading with the use of a fixed ramp
- Liaising with warehouse and office staff
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
- Keep loading areas clean and orderly at all times and perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
- Adhere to OCS (Operation Clean Sweep) standards
- Ensure high quality standards for safety, accuracy and efficiency are maintained in all job duties
- Perform other tasks and duties as needed upon request by the manager

Key requirements will include :
- Own Vehicle essential ** due to location
- Accredited C/B Forklift Operating licence from an industry recognised body such as RTITB
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a warehouse or on a construction site operating forklifts, heavy goods vehicles, or other industrial machinery
- Good knowledge and experience in warehouse health and safety requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team with other staff to coordinate the movement of goods and able to use own initiative.
- Experience with working to tight schedules.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
