Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced FLT (Counter Balance & Teletruk ) Operative to support the main logistical operations for our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Pinnacle Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Cheadle ST10.
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
Your role will be working in the waste yard, transporting metal, plastic and wood using a Counterbalance FLT. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.
We are offering a Temporary to Permanent Role - Day Shift working Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm & Friday 7am – 12noon. Whilst working on the temporary contract, this role comes along with weekly pay. Once a Permanent contract is on offer it will then go to monthly pay.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately load outbound trucks/routes according to pick sheets
- Physically inspect the product for quality
- Position trucks in the docks for loading
- Ensure FLT pre-use checks are completed and logged
- Keep the floors clean, tidy & safe at all times.
- Adherence to work schedule and attendance policy
- Plant operations clean-up as required.
- Other warehousing duties as assigned.
Skills & Key Requirements
- Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Operating licence from an industry-recognised body such as RTITB
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a warehouse or on a construction site operating forklifts, heavy goods vehicles, or other industrial machinery
- Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills
- Good knowledge and experience in warehouse health and safety requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team with other staff to coordinate the movement of goods, and able to use own initiative.
- Experience working to tight schedules.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
