Gardening Machinery Mechanic

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group are seeking a skilled Gardening Machinery Mechanic to repair and maintain gardening equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of gardening equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. You will be reliable, detail-oriented and committed to delivering excellence. You will be joining our Soft FM team based in Lambeth, London. Our Soft FM team is responsible for a wide range of cleaning, grounds maintenance and caretaking services to ensure community assets are well-maintained.

 

This is a full-time working Monday to Friday working alongside our Senior Mechanic. Additional training will be provided. If you take pride in your work and have a passion for mechanic maintenance, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection and repair of horticulture machinery i.e. lawnmowers, hedge cutters, Strimmers and ride on mowers.
  • Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery
  • Conduct out on-site repairs across London.
  • Order parts and equipment and keeping a check of assets.
  • Keeping working garage area clean and tidy
  • Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment

 

Key requirements

  • Full Driving Licence
  • Garden machinery mechanic, horticultural, or agricultural mechanical background, must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the industry.
  • Good diagnostic skills and be able to work on your own initiative
  • Experience in using gardening power tools
  • Good knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
