Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Soft Facilities Management Division in Chichester. Working externally across residential estates, you will play an important role in maintaining the general landscape. Including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting and weeding in new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation.
Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
A full UK Driving License is required due to the mobile nature of the role.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment
- General maintenance of grounds e.g. grass cutting, clearing of debris, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming.
- Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride on machinery.
- Basic flower bed maintenance.
- Salt and grit spreading to ensure pathways are safe.
- Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery
Key requirements:
- Full driving license held for a minimum of 1 year
- Experience in using gardening power tools
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
