Head of Place by Pinnacle - BTR

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Head of Place by Pinnacle to provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership across our specialist Build to Rent (BTR) and market rental lettings portfolio. This role will be accountable for driving business growth, strengthening commercial performance, delivering exceptional lettings and residential management, and ensuring that Place by Pinnacle provides clients with institutional-grade services. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping long-term strategy and strengthening our market proposition across an expanding portfolio.

Place by Pinnacle is the home of our Market Rent operations, delivering nationwide, institutional-grade property management and lettings across single and multi-family homes.
 We combine specialist expertise with the scale and support of the wider Pinnacle Group to offer efficient, insight-driven services with a strong focus on return on investment for institutional investors.

The ideal candidate will be a senior leader with proven success in BTR, supported by experience across PRS, lettings or wider property management, combining strong commercial acumen with deep operational expertise. You will demonstrate a track record of driving growth, leading high-performing teams and building excellent client and customer relationships.  With a strong understanding of housing legislation and industry standards, you will be customer-focused, collaborative and innovative in your approach, with the ability to drive service improvements and position the business competitively within a fast-growing sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Set and deliver the long-term strategy for Place by Pinnacle, aligning with wider business objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Develop and lead a compelling market proposition across BTR, PRS and lettings, ensuring strong positioning and competitiveness.
  • Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities to support continued growth and expansion.
  • Provide robust commercial oversight, driving strong financial performance and maximising value.
  • Lead all lettings, tenancy management and resident service operations, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive exceptional customer service standards, achieving high levels of resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers and investment partners, acting as a trusted senior contact.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex service or performance issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the Place by Pinnacle team, ensuring the right structure, capability and culture to support growth, drive continuous service improvement, and respond to market trends to maintain competitiveness.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within BTR, PRS, lettings or wider property management.
  • A values-driven leader who is customer-focused, collaborative, innovative and committed to delivering market-leading services and experiences.
  • Demonstrable track record of driving business growth, delivering strong commercial outcomes, and owning P&L performance.
  • Strong operational expertise across lettings, tenancy management and resident services.
  • Sound knowledge of housing and property legislation, with a strong focus on compliance and best practice.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to build, influence and maintain senior relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen, supported by outstanding communication and decision-making capabilities.
