Lettings Manager

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group are looking to recruit an experienced Lettings Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for Pinnacle Group’s lettings function. The role ensures high levels of occupancy, maximised rental income, full regulatory compliance, and an excellent customer experience across the housing portfolio. This is a leadership role with accountability for performance, people management, and continuous improvement.

You will be joining the Place by Pinnacle (Pinnacle Partnerships) team. The specialist Place by Pinnacle brand provides integrated market rental lettings and management services across single family and multi-family properties.

This is a remote role with travel to meetings in London.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver the lettings strategy across the rental portfolio, aligning with clients and Pinnacle Group’s wider housing and commercial objectives.
  • Drive occupancy rates, minimise voids, and optimise rental income through effective planning and market insight.
  • Build proactive strategic links with local authority nomination teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day lettings activity, ensuring efficient, consistent, and customer-focused service delivery.
  • Ensure robust processes for nominations, advertising, allocations, onboarding, and tenancy start-ups.
  • Work collaboratively with housing management, income, and asset teams to ensure seamless customer journeys.
  • Set and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including occupancy, void turnaround, arrears impact, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant housing, lettings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Embed strong governance, risk management, and audit readiness within the lettings function.

Key requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Significant senior management experience within lettings, housing, or property services.
  • Proven track record of driving occupancy, income, and service performance across a complex portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of UK housing and lettings legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading, developing, and managing teams at a senior level.
  • Experience working within social housing, build-to-rent, mixed-tenure, or managed housing portfolios.
  • Professional qualification in housing, property, or management (e.g. CIH or equivalent).
  • Excellent administrative and communication skills is a must.
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel and relevant software)
