Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Litter Picker to join the team at the University of Hertfordshire within our Soft FM division. You will be responsible for outdoor litter picking, cleaning five on-site laundries, and supporting general cleaning duties across residential and communal areas. The role also involves assisting with deep cleans, providing cover for supervisory duties when required, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.
Previous cleaning experience is essential, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be resilient, organised, and able to follow schedules while adapting when needed, with a good understanding of health and safety practices. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellent customer service are key.
The hours of work are 8am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and cover supervisory duties when required
- Follow health & safety procedures, report maintenance issues, and deliver excellent customer service
