Police Custody Cleaner

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking for a Weekend & Bank Holiday Police Custody Cleaner to provide and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our communities. You will be joining our Facilities Management Cleaning Team based at the Birchin Way Custody Suite – Grimsby DN31. Own Transport required due to working Sundays & Bank Holidays 

 

Your role will be to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for staff, users, and visitors to a high standard throughout the Police Station. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.

This is a Permanent Position of Min 16hrs per week working Saturday & Sunday & Bank Holidays either 8am -4pm or 9am -5pm but happy to discuss the option of a split shift if preferred 8am-12 then 4pm -8pm also required would be the flexibility of working Bank Holidays. There is also possible overtime available during the week ( to be discussed at the interview stage)

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Clean and maintain all areas to standards required to meet the Authority requirements including:- Cleaning Custody Suites, Cleaning Vehicles, Cleaning Rooms & Cleaning Cells
  • Ensure appropriate PPE/uniforms are always used during working hours.
  • To take instruction and advice from the Cleaning Supervisor.

Key requirements:

  • Cleaning experience advantage, knowledge of colour coding, manual handling, COSHH & Health & Safety 
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team and be able to demonstrate initiative.
  • Own Transport advantage due to working Sundays & Bank Holidays 
  • The appointment of this role will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Check and you must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
