Property Client Accounting Assistant

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Property Client Accounting Assistant to join our Homes Accounts Costs team within our Homes division. The postholder will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely bank reconciliations using MRI Qube.   You will also support wider financial processing activities, including tenant setup, charge raising and month‑end reporting, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and tenants to ensure high standards of financial control and client service.

Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience completing bank reconciliations and a strong working knowledge of MRI Qube, with the ability to manage reconciliations accurately and independently as a primary job function. You will be adaptable and detail‑oriented, with confidence in setting up tenants, processing tenant adjustments and raising periodic charges in line with tenancy agreements. Strong Excel skills are essential, along with a flexible approach to supporting additional and ad hoc duties as required and contributing to the wider Finance team.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Complete accurate and timely bank reconciliations as a core responsibility, using MRI Qube on a daily basis.
  • Investigate, resolve, and clear reconciliation differences, ensuring outstanding items are followed up promptly.
  • Set up new tenants within MRI Qube, ensuring all financial data is entered accurately and in line with tenancy agreements.
  • Process tenant adjustments and amendments, maintaining accurate and up to date financial records.
  • Raise periodic charges in accordance with contractual and tenancy requirements.
  • Support month end processes and reporting activities to meet internal and client deadlines.
  • Use Excel effectively to support reconciliations, data analysis, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Provide flexible support to the wider Finance team, undertaking ad hoc duties and additional tasks as requested by the manager.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive hands‑on experience completing bank reconciliations, with the ability to manage them accurately as a core responsibility.
  • Strong working knowledge of MRI Qube, which is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience setting up tenants, processing tenant adjustments, and raising periodic charges.
  • Strong Excel skills, with confidence handling financial data and supporting reconciliation activities.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a flexible approach to supporting ad‑hoc duties within a finance team.
