Retail Security Manager

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced Retail Security Manager to manage the on-site operations for Security, Cleaning and Maintenance teams provided by us to our client. You will be joining our Workplace Team at our client’s prestigious retail site based in Sale.

 

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

 

You will be responsible for managing the on-site operations for all 3 disciplines, including Security, Cleaning and Maintenance teams, for our client in an efficient, well-organised, and innovative manner, whilst maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of business activity, ensuring tight financial controls and SLA’s are met. This also includes people management and the associated areas and will be the first point of contact concerning all client queries.

 

This is a full-time position, working on a two-week rota – which involves working every second weekend.

Rota example:

Week One

Monday              10:30am to 6:30pm

Tuesday             12:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Wednesday         10:30am to 6:30pm

Thursday            11:30 am to 7:30 pm

Friday                 1:00pm to 9:00pm

 

Week Two

Monday              10:30 am to 6:30 pm

Tuesday             12:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Wednesday         10:30am to 6:30pm

Saturday             9:00am to 5:00pm

Sunday               9:00am to 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities will include;

  • The management and control of the soft service operation to the agreed specification and the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets. 
  • To provide leadership, role modelling and direction to the delivery teams within the soft services areas of the business. 
  • Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as required and provide clear information upon request to the site manager concerning site-specific information and hold overall responsibility for time and attendance management, payroll and HR processes for the site teams.
  • To be accountable for excellent service delivery within the soft services team activities and operational objectives, ensuring continuous improvements are made.
  • Oversee and ensure robust, successful on-site inductions and training and associated training records are maintained, ensuring service levels and standards are always met.
  • Support the client with day-to-day admin tasks, tenant liaison, and supporting visitors and contractors in the client's absence.

 

Key Requirements

  • Valid SIA Badge Front Line licence
  • CCTV licence 
  • Experience in Facilities Management within Cleaning, Security & Maintenance departments.
  • Effective and decisive organisational skills and the ability to develop operational teams focused on service delivery.
  • Understanding of H&S, Environment and QA procedures.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend.
