Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced School Catering Assistant to join our Total FM Team to support our catering operations at Littlemoor Primary School, Rawdon, LS19.
Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will need to be reliable, efficient, and have a passion for providing excellent service.
We are offering a Permanent Role of 20 hours per week, and you will be working Monday to Friday 9.30am – 1.30pm, Term Time Only

Key responsibilities will include:
- Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques. Ensure that merchandising at service counters and dining areas has products correctly labelled and in date.
- To prepare and maintain the food and beverage service areas attractively and hygienically.
- To assist in everyday food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as and when required.
- Clean and wash up all equipment, kitchen, and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules.
- The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Key requirements will include:
- Catering experience is essential with Level 2 Food Safety and knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene, Natasha's Law, Health & Safety and C.O.S.H.H. compliance.
- You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team.
- To meet the child safeguarding regulations, the appointment to this role will be subject to the completion of
- A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS)
