Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced, hands-on Security Manager to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites. You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based at a leading design and engineering site in Lockwood, Huddersfield, HD4.
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
You will be responsible for the Security department whilst supporting the Soft Services Manager in an efficient, well-organised, and innovative manner. Whilst maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of business activity, ensuring tight financial controls and SLA’s are met.
Your role also includes people management in the associated areas and will be the first point of contact concerning all client queries in the Soft Services Manager's absence.
This is a 3-month Fixed Term Role, working hours are 0730-1700, Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week, with an Immediate Start.

Key responsibilities will include: and may vary from time to time depending on business needs.
- Managing security staff rotas, covering sickness absence & holiday
- Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as required and provide clear information upon request to the Contract manager concerning site-specific information.
- Ensure AIs & SOPs are up to date.
- Oversee and ensure robust, successful on-site inductions, training and associated training records are maintained, ensuring service levels and standards are always met.
- Audit soft services and report in line with contract requirements.
- Assist the Soft Services Manager in maintaining systems, procedures & standards to ensure the smooth running of the service (this could mean working weekends/evenings or nights)
- Assist the Soft Services Manager in developing and maintaining systems and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the service.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to challenge accepted or established practices and structures.
Key requirements will include:
- Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence * Essential
- CCTV Licence
- Resided in the UK for the last 5 years * Essential
- Effective and decisive organisational skills and the ability to develop operational teams focused on service delivery.
- Understanding of H&S, Environment and QA procedures.
- Ability to understand and support in the management of budgets
- Be able to provide a full 5-year UK checkable work history
The appointment for this role will be subject to completion and clearance of 2 checks
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
- National Security Vetting (NSV)
