Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for a Technical Support Officer to work within the Technical Services team and ensure that compliance and critical Building Safety checks are carried out in a timely manner and logged appropriately. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out weekly and monthly testing and inspections on a range of Fire Safety systems including fire alarm systems, AOVs and sprinkler systems, firemans lifts and dry risers.
Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong IT and administrative skills, capable of managing records accurately and following procedures diligently. They will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, and the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively and deliver consistent support across technical operations.
This is a full-time, remote role with frequent travel required across London and the surrounding areas.

Key requirements:
- Carry out Quarterly and annual Fire Door Inspections
- Carry out Weekly and monthly testing and Inspection on a range of Fire safety systems including Fire alarm systems, AOVs and sprinkler systems, Firemans lifts and Dry Risers
- Keep secure records of all testing and inspections physically and digitally
- Report on H&S issues that you come across on site
- To participate in the annual review of fire risk assessments as and when required.
- To assist specialist contractors with access and site specific knowledge when carrying out servicing
Key requirements:
- Ability to learn systems quickly and to follow instructions
- MS Office and computer literate
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, verbal and written
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Observation Skills - ability to notice small details
- Recording and administration skills - ability to record what work has been done
- Good Timekeeping
