Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support our Client Accountant with a range of essential financial tasks, including bank reconciliations, posting transactions, managing unmatched items, and processing small payment receipts, ensuring accurate and efficient financial records.
The ideal candidate will be detail‑focused, proactive, and confident working with financial data, with the ability to support accurate bank reconciliations, invoice preparation, and ad‑hoc accounting tasks alongside the Client Accountant.
You will be joining our Homes team based in London. The Homes team operates a large mixed portfolio of new and existing Affordable homes nationwide comprising Affordable and Social Rent, Shared Ownership and Supported homes.
This is a full-time role offering a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office. The working hours are 9am-5.30pm.

Key responsibilities:
- Carry out accurate bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Work closely with the Client Accountant to review and resolve any unmatched items.
- Post required financial entries through the system, including small payment receipts and bank interest.
- Support the Client Accountant with general posting and day‑to‑day accounting tasks.
- Compile invoices and assist with preparing Section 22 documentation.
- Manage small ad‑hoc reconciliations to ensure financial records remain up to date.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all financial tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support as required.
Key requirements
- Experience working with bank reconciliations and supporting transactional accounting processes.
- Previous exposure to an Assistant Accountant or similar finance support role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data and reconciliations.
- Strong Excel skills, with confidence handling data and spreadsheets.
- Qube experience is desirable but not essential.
