Catering Assistant

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant (with Vending Duties) to support our catering operations in a staff canteen. You will be joining our Workplace onsite Catering Team based at Deeside Industrial Estate CH5

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.


Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met, alongside responsibility for maintaining and replenishing our on-site vending machines You will need to be reliable, and efficient, and have a passion for providing excellent service. 

This is a Permanent Role 25hrs per week, working Monday to Friday - Various shifts available Day & Night (to be discussed at interview)

Key requirements and responsiblities will include :

  • Assisting with the preparation, presentation and service of food along with barista service
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
  • Replenishing stock and supplies as required
  • Carrying out vending duties, including restocking machines, checking temperatures, recording usage, and ensuring machines are fully operational
  • Handling cashless payment systems where required
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service
  • You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team. 
  • Previous catering or vending experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
