Drainage Engineer

Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking for a skilled and committed Drainage Engineer to join our team, with responsibility for delivering both planned maintenance and emergency response works. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity, safety, and efficiency of drainage systems across a diverse range of commercial, residential and public sector sites. You will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving drainage issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

You will be joining our Total FM team based in Clacton and Basildon with daily travel around the Essex side of the M25  The Total FM team provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors to ensure facilities operate at their best.

The successful applicant must be prepared to be part of the out of hours call out rota and able to work overtime as and when required. This role is physically demanding and involves some heavy lifting. The working hours are 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. A company van with fuel card is provided with this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and identifying issues in drainage systems
  • Service and maintenance of single and 3 phase pumps, macerators and other sewage treatment works.
  • Conducting repairs, installations and replacements of pipes, fixtures and fittings.
  • Resolving blockages and drainage problems.
  • Performing regular maintenance and servicing of plumbing systems.
  • CCTV Surveys
  • Minor excavations, digs and patch repairs
  • Working at height and in confined spaces
  • Highway working

Key Requirements

  • Experience with drain clearance via vacuum tankers and manual rod system.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience working in this field
  • Electrical/Plumbing experience
  • Relevant qualification in this field
