Job Introduction
Pinnacle Group is looking for an Experienced Gatehouse Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites. You will be joining our Pinnacle Workplace Security Team on our client’s prestigious Chemical Factory based in Stalybridge SK15. Access to own transport * Essential.
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
Your role will involve managing the gatehouse, monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
We are offering a full-time role working on a 4-on, 4-off rolling rota basis, 12-hour day shift from 5 am to 5 pm. Please note this will include working weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities and occurrences.
- Test alarms and conduct various meter readings
Key Requirements will include:
- Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence *
- Experience working in a gatehouse
- Basic IT applications and digital devices.
- Access to own transport * due to location & shift patterns
- Strong, clear communicator, as you will be using Radio Control
- Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet
- Full 5-year UK checkable work history
